My top 5 pinoy hip hop rappers

5.Dice & k9
Dice and K9 or better known in the HipHop community as Mobbstarr is a hip-hop collective composed of producers, rappers and a singer. Formed in 2002, the group first enjoyed mainstream success with their smash hit Itsumo which propelled their second album entitled Mobbstarr to hip-hop royalty status. Their first album Mobb Music which was released exclusively in Cebu made enough noise for them to be noticed by industry giants like Warner Music . Songs like The Scenario and Itsumo impressed them so much that they decided to offer a distribution deal for Dice and K9/Mobbstarr's second album to be distributed nationwide and in some parts of Asia as well. The group packed their bags and headed off to Manila to start promoting and touring. Even nominated for 2004 MTV Asia awards for Favorite Group which was held in Indonesia. Itsumo became a household name as it stayed in the radio charts for weeks and weeks. It was even one of the most downloaded ringtones in 2003 - 2004 as it resonated all throughout the year with its catchy bass-line and infectious hook. They bagged awards for 2003 Song of The Year in Davao and Cebu, Best Rap Group in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Annual Hip-hop Awards in 2005, 2006 and 2007, "THA JOURNEY" of DiCE and k9 MOBBSTARR is said to be the most expensive album the group has ever had. Their 1st single "6 In Tha Mornin'" bagged 2006 Awit awards Best Rap song, the video of the same song also included in the line up of nominees for 2006 MTV Video Music Awards - Favorite HipHop/ RnB song the only HipHop artist in the line up of 50. Their latest opus entitled Time, Space, Rhythm, Starrs showcases the group’s ever-evolving sound, sticking to the fool-proof formula that made them a household name at the same time experimenting with outlandish soundscapes that will soon propel them to legendary status. They are ready for the World...
